Note: The exterior light switch works regardless of the key position in the ignition switch.
- A) When turning the switch knob to the position (to the first click) turn on the front and rear dimensions, the illumination of the instrument cluster, the illumination of the air conditioning control panel, the illumination of the license plate and the illumination of some control switches.
- b) When turning the switch knob to (to the second click) the dipped headlights turn on.
Attention: To avoid discharging the battery, do not leave the headlights on for a long period of time with the engine off.
- V) (Modifications) Automatic headlight system.
- The system is switched on by moving the headlight switch knob to the position "AUTO". This system turns on additional lighting when the illumination decreases (tunnel entrance, dusk, etc.). At a slight twilight, the side lights turn on, and then, with an even greater decrease in illumination, the headlights turn on.
- When the engine is stopped and the driver's door is opened, the headlights go out automatically. When the ignition key is set to the position "ON" the system continues to work automatically depending on the illumination.
Note:
- Do not place any objects on the auto headlight sensor. The location of the sensor is shown in the figure.
- If the automatic headlight activation system works too early or too late, then check the sensitivity of the sensor.
2. Turn on high beam headlights.
- A) To turn on the high beam headlights, set the switch knob to the position and pull the switch lever away from you. When you turn on the high beam headlights, the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster lights up.
- b) To turn off the high beam headlights and turn on the low beam headlights, move the switch lever to its original position (to yourself).
- V) For short-term switching on of high beam headlights (high beam alarm) pull the shift lever toward you until resistance is felt, then release the lever.
3. The inclusion of direction indicators.
- A) To turn on the turn signal, move the switch lever to the extreme position up or down. The lever will automatically return to its original position after the turn is completed. However, when changing lanes, you may need to return the lever to neutral by hand.
- b) To turn on the lane change signal, move the lever up or down until there is resistance to movement and hold it in this position.
Caution: If the turn signal indicators on the instrument cluster flash faster than usual, the front or rear turn signal lamp is burned out.
4. Turn on the front fog lights.
To turn on the fog lights, turn the switch to the position "ON", and the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster lights up.
Note: The front fog lights can be turned on if the ambient light switch is in the or position.
5. Turning on the rear fog lights.
To turn on the rear fog lights, use the switch shown in the figure. The indicator on the switch will stay on while the rear fog lights are on.
Note: The rear fog lights can be turned on if the exterior light switch is in the position or when the front fog lights are on.
6. Turn on the alarm. The alarm system can be included at any position of a key in the ignition lock. To turn on the alarm, press the switch shown in the figure.
Note: Use this switch when forced to stop on the road and in the event of an accident.
