Attention: in order to avoid accidents, it is not recommended to turn on the cruise control system if the traffic conditions do not allow driving at a constant speed (e.g. in dense city traffic, on winding, icy or snowy roads, on wet or slippery roads, on steep slopes).
2. The cruise control system is activated at speeds above 40 km/h by pressing the main switch as shown in the figure.
Attention: if the cruise control system is not used, then set the main switch to the position "OFF" (turn off the system).
Note: On models with automatic transmission, before using the cruise control system, the selector lever must be in position "D".
3. Control of the constant speed system.
- A) The cruise control system is controlled by switches when the main switch is in position "ON" (system on).
- b) To activate the cruise control mode while driving, maintaining the desired speed (over 40 km/h), press the switch ("SET/COAST"). After the mode is turned on, the cruise control indicator on the instrument cluster will light up.
- V) To gradually reduce the set speed when the speed control mode is on, press the switch ("SET / COAST") and hold in this position until the desired speed is reached, then release the switch.
Note: to reduce the speed of movement, you can press the brake pedal and, after reaching the desired value, turn on the speed maintenance mode again ("SET). In this case, the cruise control mode will be activated with a delay of about 3 seconds, and this is not a malfunction.
- G) To gradually increase the set speed when the cruise control is on, press the switch ("RESUME/ ACCEL") and hold in this position until the desired speed is reached, then release the switch.
Note: To accelerate when making a manoeuvre, press the accelerator pedal. When the pedal is released, the vehicle speed will decrease to the previously set value and will be automatically maintained at this level.
- d) If the vehicle speed did not drop below 40 km/h during the automatic deactivation of the cruise control mode or the deactivation using the control switch, the previously set speed can be restored by pressing the switch ("RESUME/ACCEL").
Attention: the cruise control will be automatically turned off in the following cases: pressing the clutch pedal (models with manual transmission) or the brake pedal, setting the automatic transmission selector lever to the position "N", decrease in speed to 40 km/h and below, decrease in speed by 15 km/h relative to the value set by the system (e.g. on a steep slope).
4. To turn off the cruise control system, press the main switch again or press the switch ("CANCEL").
