This switch has three positions:
- 1. Intermittent mode
- 2. Slow movement
- 3. Fast movement
Note: To prevent damage to the windshield wipers, do not attempt to clear heavy snow or ice with the wipers. Accumulated snow or ice must be cleared manually. If there is only a light layer of snow or ice, turn the heater to the windshield defroster mode and melt the snow or ice before using the wipers.
Windshield washer operation

Washer fluid will be supplied to the windshield when the windshield wiper/washer switch lever is moved toward the steering wheel. When the windshield washer is turned on, the windshield wipers will automatically perform two strokes while supplying washing fluid. The washer will stop working when the windshield wiper/washer switch is released.
Note:
- Do not operate the washer for more than 15 seconds or when the washer reservoir is empty.
- In cold weather, before using the windshield wiper, make sure the wiper blades are not frozen to the glass.
- In areas where water freezes in the winter, use an antifreeze windshield washer fluid.
Windshield defogging
1 - Windshield fog removal
To remove fog from the windshield, move the windshield wiper/washer lever up. The wiper blades will make one stroke.
Windscreen wiper operation with variable interval wiper blade operation mode

To use the variable interval wiper function, move the wiper switch to the "INT" (Intermittent) position. In this switch position, the intermittent wiper interval can be changed from approximately 1 to 18 seconds by turning the intermittent interval adjustment wheel on the switch lever.
Rear window wiper and washer

1. @@@: Washer fluid is supplied to the rear window and the wiper operates when the switch lever tip is in this position.
2. "ON": When the switch lever tip is in the "ON" position, the rear window wiper operates continuously.
3. "OFF".
