2. Remove the boot (IN) with ball joint (A).
3. Remove boot clamp (A).
4. Remove boot clamp (A).
5. Pull the dust boot out towards the tie rod.
Note: Check for rust on the rail when replacing the boots.
6. Disconnect the inlet (A) from the rack housing.
7. Slowly move the rack to drain the fluid from the rack body.
8. Press the tab of the lock washer (A), fixing the steering rod (IN) and rail (WITH).
9. Disconnect the tie rod (IN) from rail (A).
Attention. Be careful not to bend the rail.
10. Loosen the lock nut (A) stop plugs.
11. Remove the plug (IN) stop with mandrel (A) 14 mm.
12. Loosen the lock nut (A) and remove the cap (IN) stop, spring (WITH) rail stop and stop (D) racks from the steering gear.
13. When the retaining ring appears in the slot of the rack housing cylinder, turn the stopper (A) slats clockwise and remove the circlip.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the rack.
14.When the retaining ring appears in the slot (A) rack housing cylinder, turn the stopper (IN) slats counterclockwise and remove the retaining ring.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the rack.
15. Remove bushing and rail from housing.
16. Remove the O-ring (A) from the rail bushing (IN).
17. Remove the oil seal (IN) from the rail bushing (A).
18. Remove the valve (A) from the body (IN) with a soft mallet.
19. Using the special tool, remove the gland and ball bearing from the valve body.
20. Remove the gland and o-ring from the rack housing.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the gear and rack housing.
21. With special tools (09573-33100, 09555-21000) remove the oil seal (A) from the rack housing.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the rack housing.
22. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
