Replacement
1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Disconnect the pressure pipe (A) and suction hose (IN) from the power steering pump.
Note: Tightening torque: 53.9-63.7 Nm.
3. Turn away bolts and remove the pump (A) power steering.
Note: Tightening torque: 16.7-27.5 Nm.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Disassembly and assembly
1. Loosen the bolt and remove the O-ring (A) and cam washer (IN).
2. Loosen the bolt and remove the suction pipe (A) and sealing ring (IN).
3. Disconnect the connector (A) flow control valve, remove the flow control valve (IN) and spring (WITH).
4. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
Checking the technical condition
1. Make sure the flow control valve is not bent.
2. Check the shaft for wear and damage.
3. Inspect the belt for wear and deterioration.
4. Check the rotor and impeller grooves for abrasive step wear.
5. Check the contact surface of the cam and impeller for abrasive step wear.
6. Check the impeller for damage.
7. Check for wear marks on the support washer or where the shaft and pump cover meet.
