
Removal
1. Remove the gearbox and clutch.
2. Unscrew the bolts and remove the flywheel. If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, remove the drive plate. When unscrewing the bolts, block the flywheel from turning.
Examination
1. Check the condition of the flywheel surface in contact with the clutch disc. If significant wear is present, replace the flywheel.

2. Check the runout of the flywheel surface in contact with the clutch disc. Runout: 0.1 mm³.
3. Check the flywheel ring gear for damage and wear and replace it if necessary.
Installation
Install the flywheel or drive plate onto the crankshaft. Using a special tool, lock the flywheel from turning and tighten the flywheel mounting bolts.
Tightening torque: 120–130 Nm.
