Removal
1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold from the cylinder head.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.
Examination
1. Check the exhaust manifold for damage or cracking.
2. Check the exhaust manifold gasket for delamination or damage.
Installation
The exhaust manifold is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Warning: When installing the exhaust manifold, it is necessary to use a new gasket and self-locking nuts.
