Removal and installation the exhaust manifold (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation system pipe (A).



2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the EGR valve.

3. Remove the vacuum valve and EGR cooler (A).



4. Remove the thermal insulator (A).



5. Loosen the mounting bolts (B) and remove the insulator (A).



6. Disconnect the oil drain pipe and the inlet pipe (A) of the turbocharger (B) from the cylinder block (C).





7. Loosen the lower turbocharger bracket mounting bolt.

8. Remove the front muffler (A).



9. Remove the exhaust manifold (A).



10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
