The occupant presence detection system detects the presence of a passenger in the front seat. If it is determined that there is no passenger in the front seat, the front and/or side airbags will not deploy. This system is mainly designed to prevent unnecessary replacement of airbag components that have been deployed unnecessarily in a road traffic accident (accident).

Note: Do not place objects weighing more than 15 kg on the front passenger seat. Otherwise, the front passenger airbag may deploy in the event of a collision.
