Mechanical gearbox in a block with a bridge (Hyundai Accent X3)

Removal

1. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil from the gearbox.

2. Remove the clutch cylinder.

3. Remove the air filter.

4. Remove the selector and shift cables.



5. Disconnect the reversing light switch connector.

6. Remove the speedometer cable.

7. Disconnect the clutch cable.

8. Loosen the starter mounting bolts.

Remove the upper bolts and the gearbox bracket bolt.

9. Remove the mudguard.

10. Disconnect the transverse rod, lower support and axle shaft.

I. Remove the bell housing cover.

12. Supporting the gearbox with a jack, unscrew the lower gearbox mounting bolts.

13. Remove the gearbox.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
