1. Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise to the 90° before TDC position as shown in the figure.

Warning: Make sure the valves are adjusted properly.

2. Using the BORROUGHS BT-33-73F device, measure the tension of the toothed belt in the middle of the tension side.

Belt tension on a cold engine 9.5-16.5 kg

Warning! Place the measuring supports of the device at the base of the belt teeth, and the measuring tip in the middle, on the back side of the belt.
