Elements of the fuel supply system
1 – intake manifold; 2 – bolt, 15–20 Nm; 3 – throttle assembly; 4 – bolt, 15–20 Nm; 5 – throttle assembly gasket; 6 – fuel line; 7 – air chamber.
Removal
1. Before disconnecting the fuel lines, relieve the pressure in the fuel system, otherwise pressurized fuel will leak out of the fuel system.
Warning: Cover the connection with a towel to prevent fuel splashing caused by residual pressure in the fuel line.
2. Remove the fuel line together with the fuel injectors.
Warning: When removing the fuel line, be careful not to drop the fuel injectors.
Examination
1. Disconnect the connector from the fuel injector and measure the resistance between the connector terminals.
Resistance: 15.9±0.35 Ohm
2. If the resistance value differs from the required value, replace the fuel injector.
Installation
1. Install new sealing rings on the injector.
2. Lubricate the injector sealing rings with fuel.
3. When installing the injectors, rotate them around the axis in one direction and the other.
4. Make sure the injectors are firmly seated in the fuel line.
