1 – intake manifold; 2 – bolt, 15–20 Nm; 3 – throttle assembly; 4 – bolt, 15–20 Nm; 5 – gasket; 6 – fuel line; 7 – air compensation chamber.
Removal

1. Disconnect the connectors from the air flow meter and throttle position sensors.

2. Remove the air intake pipe connected to the throttle body.
3. Remove the accelerator cable.
4. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose and the brake booster vacuum hose.
5. Disconnect the vacuum hose connections.
6. Remove the air chamber support.
7. Remove the air chamber and gasket.
8. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the fuel injectors.
9. Remove the fuel line with fuel injectors.

Warning: Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the fuel line.
10. Remove the insulator from the intake manifold and disconnect the heater hose.

11. Remove the intake manifold.
Examination
1. Check the air chamber for defects or cracks.
2. Check the intake manifold for damage or cracking of any part.
3. Check the air duct for damage or cracking of any part.
Installation

1. Install the fuel line with the fuel injectors attached to it.
Warning: Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the fuel line.
2. Check that the insulators are properly inserted into the fuel line holes.
