Removal
Main muffler
Warning: Make sure the exhaust system is sufficiently cool before removing or inspecting components.

1. Disconnect the muffler from the center pipe.

2. Remove the rubber mounts and remove the main muffler from the vehicle.
Central pipe
1. Separate the center muffler from the exhaust outlet pipe.

2. Remove the rubber mounts and remove the center muffler from the vehicle.
Catalytic converter
1. Remove the catalytic converter from the exhaust pipe.

2. Remove the catalytic converter from the cylinder head.
Exhaust intake pipe
1. Disconnect the connector from the oxygen sensor.
2. Separate the exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter or exhaust manifold.
3. Remove the front exhaust pipe clamp bolt and the center muffler mounting nut.
Examination
1. Check mufflers and pipes for corrosion and damage.
2. Check the rubber suspensions for aging and cracks.
Installation
1. Temporarily install the catalytic converter assembly, exhaust pipe, center muffler and rear muffler.
2. Securely tighten all connections of the exhaust system components. When moving the exhaust system of the car to the sides, make sure that it does not touch the car body. Otherwise, replace the rubber hangers of the exhaust system.
