1 - bolt, 10–15 Nm; 2 - bypass hose; 3 - sealing ring; 4 – the union of an exit of a cooling liquid; 5 – a hose for a cooling liquid; 6 - coolant supply hose to the heater.
Pipes and hoses of the DOHC engine cooling system
1 - inlet pipe of the coolant; 2 - fitting for the outlet of the coolant.
Examination
1. Check the pipes and hoses of the cooling system for damage, cracks and swelling.
2. Replace if necessary.
Replacement
1. When connecting the hose to the coolant outlet fitting, pre-lubricate the O-ring with coolant.
2. Make sure the yellow mark on the end of the coolant inlet hose lines up with the yellow mark on the fitting.
Warning! Do not lubricate the O-ring with oil or grease.
Warning! Before installing the hoses, clean the fittings from dirt, dust and sand.
Warning! Insert the coolant pipe into the water pump as far as it will go.
Warning! At installation use only a new sealing ring.
