Examination
Check the cooling system tubes and hoses for damage, cracks and swelling. Replace them if necessary.
Replacement
When connecting the hose to the coolant outlet fitting, first lubricate the sealing ring with coolant.
- Do not lubricate the O-ring with oil or grease.
- Before installing the hoses, clean the fittings from dirt, dust and sand.
- Insert the coolant pipe all the way into the water pump.
- When installing, use only a new O-ring.
