This system is designed to prevent unauthorized entry into the car. This system has three states: the first is "Ready", the second is "Alarm" and the third is "Disabled". When the anti-theft system is triggered, the sound alarm (siren) is turned on and the direction indicators start flashing.
State of readiness
Park the vehicle and turn off the engine. Prepare the system in the following order:
- remove the key from the ignition;
- make sure the hood and trunk lid are locked;
- lock the doors using the remote control door lock transmitter.
After completing the above steps, the direction indicators will flash once, indicating that the system is in the ready state.
Warning: If any of the doors, trunk lid or hood are open, the system will not be armed.
Warning: If this happens, bring the system to the ready state as described above.
The anti-theft system can only be activated when all passengers have left the vehicle
Warning! Do not arm the system until all passengers have left the vehicle. When there are passengers in the vehicle, the audible alarm (siren) may sound when the passenger leaves the vehicle.
Alarm status
The alarm is triggered when the vehicle is parked and the system is in the prepared state in one of the following cases.
- 1) Opens the front or rear door without using the transmitter or ignition key.
- 2) The trunk lid opens without using the ignition key.
- 3) The hood opens.
In these cases, the sound alarm (siren) will sound and the direction indicators will flash for 30 seconds. This can be repeated 3 times. To turn off the system, unlock the doors using the transmitter or ignition key.
Warning: Do not attempt to start the engine when the anti-theft system is in the prepared state.
Disconnection state
The system can be deactivated by unlocking the driver or passenger door by pressing the "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter or with the ignition key. The direction indicators will then flash twice to indicate that the system is deactivated.
