For added convenience, all of your car's locks can be unlocked with a single key. However, since the doors can be locked without using a key, it is recommended that you carry a spare key with you in case you accidentally lock the key inside your car.

To prevent unauthorized persons from finding out your key number, this number is not stamped on the key itself, but on a removable number plate. Keep the number plate in a safe place, separate from the keys, outside the car. The key number should also be written down in a place where you can use it if necessary.

New keys can be ordered from any authorized Hyundai dealer by providing them with the numbers of the necessary keys. For security purposes, it is necessary to remove the metal number plate from the key after you receive the car. Moreover, Hyundai does not provide key numbers for security reasons. If you need an additional key or if you have lost your keys, your authorized Hyundai dealer can make a new key for you.
