For added convenience, all car locks are opened with one key. However, since the doors can be locked without using a key, it is recommended to carry a spare key with you to use if you accidentally lock the key inside your own car (Fig. 1.6).

Remember (write down) the key number. To prevent unauthorized persons from recognizing it, the number is stamped not on the key itself, but on a removable number plate (Fig. 1.7). Keep the number plate in a safe place separate from the keys outside the car. If additional keys are needed or the keys are lost, their duplicates can only be made by an authorized Hyundai dealer.
