Please note: the security mode will not be activated if at least one of the doors is open or not closed tightly when the central lock is activated.
2. Alarm mode (alarm signal).
- a) When the alarm mode is triggered, the anti-theft alarm siren is activated and the direction indicators flash. The alarm sounds 3 times for 30 seconds, then automatically turns off.
- b) When the security mode is activated, the alarm mode is triggered in the following cases: without using the key fob transmitter, or one of the doors is open, or the hood is open (from the inside or from the outside), or the trunk lid is open without using the key.
- c) To force the alarm mode to be turned off, unlock the side door locks using the key fob transmitter.
3. Deactivating the security mode.
- a) The security mode will be deactivated only if the driver's door or front passenger's door is unlocked using the key fob transmitter. The direction indicators will flash 2 times to indicate that the security mode is deactivated.
Please note: the external security mode can only be deactivated using the key fob transmitter.
- b) If the key fob transmitter is missing, to forcefully deactivate the security mode, open the driver's door with the key (the alarm mode will be activated), insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "ON" position, then wait 30 seconds.
