Note: This operation does not require removing the engine from the vehicle.
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the front right wheel.
3. Loosen the two mounting bolts (B) and remove the right engine cover (A).

4. Turn the crankshaft pulley until the recess on it aligns with the timing mark "T" on the drive belt cover.

Note: Always rotate the crankshaft clockwise only.
5. Remove the drive belt (A) and tensioner (B).

6. Place the jack under the engine crankcase.
Note: Place a block of wood between the jack and the engine crankcase.
7. Loosen the two bolts and two nuts. Remove the engine support bracket (A).

8. Remove the power steering pump.
9. Loosen 7 bolts (B) and remove the upper drive belt cover (A).

10. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the crankshaft pulley (A).

11. Remove the drive belt idler pulley (A).

12. Loosen 4 bolts (B) and remove the lower drive shaft cover (A).

13. Remove the engine frame (A).

14. Make sure that the timing mark on the camshaft drive gear matches the mark on the cylinder head cover. If not, turn the crankshaft one full revolution (360°).
15. Loosen the two bolts and remove the drive belt tensioner (A).

16. Remove the camshaft drive belt (A).

Note: If the drive belt is to be reused, mark the direction of rotation on the belt with chalk for proper installation later.
17. Remove the tension pulley (ХВ) and the intermediate pulley (A).

18. Remove the crankshaft gear.
19. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the camshaft gears.
