Note. This operation does not require removal of the engine from the vehicle.
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the front right wheel.
3. Unscrew the two mounting bolts (IN) and remove the right engine cover (A).
4. Turn the crankshaft pulley until the recess on it is aligned with the alignment mark «T» on the drive belt cover.
Note. Always turn the crankshaft clockwise only.
5. Remove drive belt (A) and tensioner (IN).
6. Place a jack under the crankcase.
Note. Place a wooden block between the jack and the crankcase.
7. Remove two bolts and two nuts. Remove engine mount bracket (A).
8. Remove the power steering pump.
9. Remove 7 bolts (IN) and remove the upper drive belt cover (A).
10. Unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the crankshaft pulley (A).
11. Remove the intermediate pulley of the drive belt (A).
12. Remove 4 bolts (IN) and remove the lower driveshaft cover (A).
13. Remove the engine frame (A).
14. Make sure that the alignment mark on the camshaft drive gear matches the mark on the cylinder head cover. If it does not match, turn the crankshaft one full turn (360°).
15. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the drive belt tensioner (A).
16. Remove the camshaft drive belt (A).
Note. If you plan to reuse the drive belt, mark the direction of rotation with chalk on it for proper installation in the future.
17. Remove the idler pulley XB) and intermediate pulley (A).
18. Remove the crankshaft gear.
19. To turn away bolts of fastening and to remove gear wheels of camshafts.
