Cylinder head — disassembly (Hyundai Tucson JM)

Note: Mark the hydraulic lifter, valves and valve springs during disassembly for proper reassembly later.

1. Remove the hydraulic compensator (A).



2. Using special devices (09222-28000, 09222-28100), compress the valve spring and remove the cracker.



3. Remove the plate.

4. Remove the valve spring.

5. Remove the valve.

6. Using a special tool, remove the oil deflector caps.
