Note: Clean all parts thoroughly. Apply engine oil to all friction surfaces immediately before assembly. Replace all seals and valve stem seals with new ones during assembly.
1. Install the valve spring seats.
2. Using special tool 09222-22001, install new oil deflector caps.
Note.
- Do not use old valve stem seals.
- Incorrect installation of valve stem seals may result in oil leakage.
3. Install the valves, valve springs and retainers.
Note: Valve springs are installed with the enamel side facing the valve head.
4. Using special devices (09222-28800, 09222-281000), compress the valve springs and install the crackers. Make sure that the spring is securely fixed.
5. Lightly tap the protruding parts of the valves with a wooden hammer handle 2-3 times to ensure that the crackers and plates are securely installed.
6. Install hydraulic compensators (A).
