Warning. 1. The eccentric bolt should be adjusted within 90° left and right from the center position.


Checking the axial clearance of the wheel bearing



1. Jack up the car. While the car is on the floor jack, check the bearing clearance.

2. If there is a gap, remove the hub cap and then release the parking brake.



3. Remove the caliper and brake disc.

4. Check the bearing axial clearance. Place a dial indicator against the hub surface, then move the hub axially and check if there is any clearance.

Limit value - 0.005-0.025 mm

5. If the axial clearance exceeds the limit value, tighten the rear wheel bearing nut to the required torque and check the axial clearance again.

6. If it is impossible to adjust within the required limit, the rear hub bearing should be replaced.
