Tightening torque: Nm
Disassembly
1. Before removing the rod nut, compress the coil spring with a special tool.
Warning. Do not use pneumatic devices to tighten the special tool bolt.
2. While holding the rod, remove the rod nut.
Examination
1. Check rubber parts for damage.

2. Check the coil springs for damage or wear.
Assembly
1. Compress the coil spring with the special tool and install it on the rear strut.
2. Place the end of the coil spring on the spring seat of the rear strut as shown in the figure.

Note: When replacing the spring, make sure the spring has the appropriate identification mark.
3. With the bracket assembly positioned as shown in the figure, tighten the nut to the specified torque.
