Removal
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the accelerator cable (1). Disconnect the connectors of the throttle position sensor (2) and idle speed control valve (3).
3. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose (4) and vacuum hose (5).
For 1.4L engines only
4. Disconnect the injector wire harness connector (A).
5. Remove the heater hoses (7), the canister purge valve (8) and the vacuum booster (9) from the throttle assembly and intake manifold. Disconnect the connectors of the solenoid vacuum valve (10) and the coolant temperature sensor (11).
For 1.6L engines only
6. Disconnect the injector wiring harness connectors (12 and 13).
7. Remove the heater hoses (14), the canister purge solenoid valve (15) and the vacuum booster (16) from the throttle assembly and intake manifold. Disconnect the solenoid valve (17) and coolant temperature sensor (18) connectors.
For all models
8. Remove the fuel manifold (19). Tightening torque of the screws: 19-27 Nm.
9. Remove the intake manifold struts (20). Tightening torque of the screws: 18-24 Nm.
10. Remove the intake manifold (21). Tightening torque of the nuts: 15-20 Nm.
Installation
11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
