
2. If there is voltage when the ignition is turned on and there is no voltage after the engine is started, then the oil pressure sensor is OK and you need to check the lamp and electrical wires.
Oil pressure sensor switching pressure: 14.71 - 29.42 kPa

3. Using special tool 09260–32000, tighten the pressure sensor to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
- Oil pressure sensor assembly with level sensor: 8–12 N·m
- Oil pressure sensor: 13-15 Nm
Examination

1. Use an ohmmeter to check the continuity of the connection between the sensor terminal and the cylinder block. If there is no continuity, replace the sensor.
2. Use an ohmmeter to check the continuity of the connection between the sensor terminal and the cylinder block with the sensor rod extended. If there is continuity even with the rod extended, replace the sensor.

3. However, if there is no conductivity even when a vacuum of 50 kPa is applied to the sensor opening, the sensor is working properly.
