Warning! Idling the engine in the garage is dangerous, even if the garage doors are open. Do not run the engine in the garage longer than necessary to start the engine and drive the vehicle out of the garage.
Warning! If you need to idle the engine for a long time while there are people in the car, park the car in an open, well-ventilated area, set the air intake mode selector switch to the outside air intake position and set the fan to one of the high speeds to refresh the air entering the car.
Warning! If you are forced to drive with the rear door/trunk lid open because you are carrying large luggage, you must do the following:
- close all windows;
- open the side deflectors;
- set the air intake mode selection switch to the outside air intake position, the ventilation mode selection knob to the position (to the feet or to the head area), and the fan to one of the high speeds.
Warning: To ensure proper operation of the ventilation system, keep the air intake vents located in front of the windshield free of snow, ice, leaves or other objects.
