Checking the thermostatic sensor (thermistor) (Hyundai Accent LC)

The thermistor monitors the core temperature and turns off the A/C compressor relay to prevent the evaporator from freezing when over-cooled.

Execution order



1. Remove the glove box.

2. Start the engine.

3. Turn on the air conditioner.

3. Turn on the air conditioner.


4. Using a tester, measure the output voltage between contacts 2 and 3 of the thermistor.
