Removal
1. Before disconnecting the fuel lines, relieve the pressure in the fuel system, otherwise, fuel under pressure will leak out of the fuel system.
Warning: Cover the connection with a towel to prevent fuel splashing caused by residual pressure in the fuel line.
2. Remove the fuel line together with the fuel injectors.
1. When removing the fuel line, be careful not to drop the fuel injectors.
2. Fuel may leak when removing fuel injectors.
Examination
1. Disconnect the connector from the fuel injector and measure the resistance between the connector contacts. Resistance: 15.9±0.35 Ohm at 20°C.
2. If the resistance value differs from the required value, replace the fuel injector.
Installation
1. Install new sealing rings on the injector.
2. Lubricate the injector sealing rings with fuel.
3. When installing the injectors, rotate them around the axis in one direction and the other.
4. Make sure the injectors are firmly inserted into the fuel line.
Caution: If the injector is not installed correctly, the sealing ring may become pinched. Remove the injector and reinstall it.
