Removal
1. Remove the bushing and the end of the inner cable from the accelerator pedal lever.
2. Disconnect the connector from the accelerator pedal switch, remove the bolts and remove the accelerator pedal bracket.
Examination
1. Check the accelerator cable and cable housing for damage.

Installation
1. Lubricate the accelerator pedal pivot points with grease.
2. To prevent exhaust fumes and gases from entering the vehicle interior, apply sealant to the threads of the accelerator pedal bracket mounting bolts. Tightening torque: 8–12 Nm
3. Insert the accelerator cable end into the grip on the end of the accelerator pedal lever.
4. Apply general purpose grease around the throttle cable end.
