Oil change valve (OCV) (Hyundai Elantra XD)

The variable valve timing (CVVT) mechanism is installed on the intake camshaft and helps reduce emissions of harmful substances with exhaust gases and reduces fuel consumption.

The oil control valve (OCV) is the main element of the CVVT system. Based on the signal from the engine control unit, the valve changes the direction of oil supply, which changes the timing of the opening and closing of the valves.
