1. ON / VOL (Power switch)
Volume knob, Left/Right stereo balance knob, Scan switch) The radio works when the ignition key is in the «ON» («On») or «ACC» («Optional equipment»). Turn the knob clockwise to turn on the power and increase the volume. The LCD will display the frequency of the received radio station in radio reception mode. Turn this knob counterclockwise to decrease the volume and turn off the power to the radio.
BAL (Left/Right stereo balance adjustment knob)
Pull the knob and turn it clockwise to increase the volume of the right speaker. (The volume of the left speaker will decrease). Turning the knob counterclockwise will increase the volume of the left speaker. (The volume of the right speaker will decrease). After adjustment, push the handle back to its normal position to use its other functions.
SCAN (Auto Tuning Knob for Received Stations)
When this knob is pressed, the frequency will increase and the receiver will tune in 5 seconds to one received station after another. To stop auto tuning, press this button again.
2. FAD (Front/rear stereo balance adjustment knob)
Turn the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume of the front speakers. (Rear speaker volume will decrease). Turning the knob clockwise will increase the volume of the rear speakers. (The volume of the front speakers will decrease).
3. BASS (Bass tone control knob)
Push the knob in until it pops out and turn it left or right to set the tone you want in the bass region.
TREBLE (Treble tone control knob)
Pull the handle extended outward to the next fixed position. Turn it left or right to set the tone you want in the high frequency region.
4. FM/AM (Range button)
Pressing the button switches the bands AM, FM1 and FM2. The selected range is displayed on the LCD.
5. TUNE (Manual frequency button)
Click on the sides or this button to increase or decrease the frequency. If you hold this button for more than 1 second, the stop signal (strong radio signal) will be ignored and the search for the next one will continue.
Automatic frequency tuning
Press and hold the frequency setting button (TUNE) for 1 second or longer. By pressing on the side «», the radio will automatically tune in to the next station with a strong signal and a higher broadcast frequency, and when you press a side, the radio will automatically tune in to the next station with a lower broadcast frequency.
6. Buttons for memorizing stations
You can memorize this radio six (6) stations on each of the AM, FM1 and FM2 bands.
Storing station frequencies
- You can store up to 6 AM stations and 12 FM stations into the audio system memory. You can then simply press the band select button and one of the six station store buttons to select one of those stations. To memorize these stations, perform the following operations:
- Press the band select button to select one of the AM, FM1 or FM2 bands.
- Select the station you want to store in memory using manual or automatic tuning.
- Select the station memory button to which you want to assign this station.
- Press and hold this station store button for two or more seconds. The display will show a pointer with the number of the station memorization button you have selected. After memorizing a frequency, its value will flash on the display. You must release the button and continue memorizing the next desired station. You can program 18 stations in total by assigning one AM station and two FM stations to one button,
- At the end of programming, you can turn on any of the preset stations by selecting any of the AM, FM1 or FM2 bands and pressing the appropriate button for storing station frequencies.
