Intake manifold



1. Check the manifold for defects or cracks.

2. Check the coolant and air passages for leaks. Clean the passages if necessary.

3. Check the straightness of the manifold joint surface using a square.
  • Standard value within 0.15 mm
  • The permissible limit is 0.3 mm

Installation



1. First, temporarily tighten the bolts at both ends of the manifold and then ensure that the mounting surfaces are in close contact.

After this, finally tighten all bolts to the required torque.
  • The tightening torque of the bolts securing the intake manifold to the engine cylinder block is 18-25 Nm.

2. Insert the shock absorbers (4 pieces) into the holes of the intake manifold.
