Manual gearbox assembly
Removal
1. Remove the shift and control cable bracket.

2. Remove the rear cover bolts and rear cover.
3. Remove the reverse light switch, gasket and mounting bracket.

4. Remove the seal bolts, springs and mounting bracket.

Note: Do not lose the springs or balls.
5. Using a special tool (09414-11000) remove the spring pin.

6. Remove the locknuts of the drive and secondary shafts.

7. Using the control lever and the selector lever, engage first gear.

8. Move the fifth gear synchronizer to the fifth gear pinion, then loosen and remove the locknuts.

9. Remove the fifth gear synchronizer sleeve and gear shift fork.
10. Remove the fifth gear synchronizer hub and the toothed wheel with the fifth gear pinion and the needle roller bearing using a special tool (09455-21000).

11. Remove the fifth gear on the secondary shaft using a special tool (09455-21000).

12. Remove the fifth gear sleeve, then remove the snap ring.

13. Remove the reverse gear axle bolt.

14. Remove the transmission case mounting bolts in the clutch housing, then remove the transmission case.

15. Remove the oil guides.

16. Remove the secondary shaft bearing outer ring and spacer sleeve using a special tool (09455-23000).

17. Remove the reverse lever.

18. Remove the reverse gear shaft and reverse gear.

19. Using a special tool (09414-11000) remove the spring pins.

20. Disconnect the gear shift rod and fork assembly.

21. Remove the input and output shaft assemblies simultaneously.

22. Remove the differential gear assembly.

23. Remove the speedometer driven gear assembly.

24. Using a special tool (09455-32200) remove the outer ring of the secondary shaft bearing.

25. Using a special tool, remove the drive shaft oil seal.

26. Remove the secondary shaft oil guide.

27. Remove the drive shaft oil seal.

28. Remove the control shaft assembly.
