Withdrawal
Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal (–) battery.
Remove the air filter duct.
Remove the air filter assembly and engine air intake duct.
Disconnect the reversing light switch connector.
Disconnect the hydraulic clutch tubes and their clamps.

Remove the clutch slave cylinder (pic. 3.5).
Disconnect the speedometer cable.

Remove the shift cable and gear selector cable (pic. 3.6).
Remove the starter mounting bolts and remove the upper transmission connecting bolts.
Mount the engine on a special tool (traverse 09200-38001) for mounting brackets.
Remove the transmission support bracket and transmission support.
Raise the car on a lift.
Remove the front wheels.
Remove the drain plug and drain the gearbox oil.
Disconnect the tie rod ends, lower arm ball joints and wheel drive shafts.
Turn away a bolt and disconnect the cardan joint of a shaft of a steering, then turn away bolts of fastening of a returnable tube of the steering mechanism.
Remove the front muffler.
Remove the subframe mounting bolts and subframe.
Remove the front and rear gearbox mounting brackets.

Remove the gearbox side bolts (pic. 3.7).
Lower the transmission assembly from the engine compartment while supporting it with a rolling hydraulic jack.
Note. When supporting the transmission assembly, make sure that the hydraulic rolling jack support acts on a significant area of the gearbox housing and that the jack force is not applied to one local point of the gearbox housing.
Attention! The engine and transmission mounts must be installed in the order listed below.
- Attention! Bracket side engine support.
- Attention! Gearbox support bracket.
- Attention! Rear engine mount bracket.
- Attention! Front engine mount bracket.
Attention! Be careful not to damage or deform the support when installing the engine front mount bracket. If the support is destroyed, severe vibration of the power unit may occur when the engine is idling.
