Remove the battery tray by unscrewing the five bolts that secure it.

Remove the battery tray bracket.
Lower air filter housing mounting bolt
Remove the air filter housing. First remove the top part of the filter, then the bottom part
. One of the three bolts is located at the bottom of the top cover of the housing.
Air filter bracket mounting bolts
Remove the air filter bracket.
Remove the reverse light switch.
Loosen the bolts securing the clutch slave cylinder.
Shift Cable End Retaining Pin
Remove the shift cable end retaining pin.
Gear Selector Cable End Locking Pin
Remove the shift cable end retaining pin.
Starter mounting screw
Lock washers for gear shift and gear selection cable housings
Remove the shift and selector cable housing lock washers.
Disconnect the speedometer drive flexible shaft.
Remove the front wheel.
Remove the starter.
Gearbox to engine mounting bolt
Remove the upper bolt securing the gearbox to the engine.
Raise the vehicle and remove the brake caliper.
Disconnect the steering rod from the suspension strut.
Drain the oil from the gearbox housing by unscrewing the drain plug.
Remove the wheel speed sensor and unscrew the steering knuckle mounting bolt.
Warning: When installing the device, be careful not to damage the top cover of the casing with the holder hook.
Separating the drive shaft from the gearbox
Remove the wheel drive shaft and unscrew the wheel hub nut.
Install a crossmember (Parts and Accessories Catalogue Number 09200-38001) to support the engine when removing and installing the transmission with supports.
Loosen the gearbox suspension support mounting bolts:
Bolts for fastening the gearbox suspension supports to the body
- a) to the body (left side);
Gearbox elastic support mounting bolt
- b) elastic support bolt.
Gearbox Rear Mounting Bracket Mounting Bolt
Remove the rear transmission mount bracket by raising the vehicle.
Remove the clutch housing cover.
Install the transmission stand under the gearbox.
Note: Do not press out the seals unless necessary, as this may damage them.
Remove the lower gearbox-to-engine mounting bolts.
Remove the gearbox.
The gearbox is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Check for oil leaks from the gearbox.
