General description of a manual transmission

When starting and accelerating the car, the torque on the wheels must change from the maximum to the minimum value. Therefore, in the transmission between the wheels and the engine, a gearbox is installed, the toothed gears of which can engage alternately in different combinations, forming several gears.

Depending on the model and year of manufacture, the car is equipped with different five-speed gearboxes. We provide a description of all types of gearboxes installed on the car.
