Checking the oil level
Make sure there is no oil leakage from the gearbox. Remove the oil filler plug and check the oil level. If the oil is contaminated, fill with fresh oil.
Note. The oil level should be at the lower edge of the hole. When the level drops, add oil until it starts to flow out and tighten the plug.
Unscrew the oil filler plug and check the oil level with your finger.
Change the oil in the gearbox housing if it is visibly dirty or of the wrong viscosity.
Change of oil
Park the vehicle on a level surface, unscrew the oil drain plug and drain the oil.
Screw in the oil drain plug with a new gasket to a torque of 30–35 Nm.
Gearbox oil filler plug
Pour fresh oil through the filler hole (drawing) to the level of its lower edge.
The capacity of the gearbox housing is 2.15 liters.
Recommended oil - SAE 75W-90 (API-GL-4).
