Checking the oil level
Make sure there is no oil leakage from the gearbox. Unscrew the oil filler plug and check the oil level. If the oil is contaminated, add fresh oil.
Note: The oil level should be at the bottom edge of the hole. If the level drops, add oil until it starts to flow out and tighten the plug.
Unscrew the oil filler plug and check the oil level with your finger.
Replace the oil in the gearbox sump if it is noticeably dirty or of the wrong viscosity.
Oil change
Place the car on a level horizontal surface, unscrew the oil drain plug and drain the oil.
Tighten the oil drain plug with a new gasket to a torque of 30–35 N·m.
Gearbox oil filler plug
Fill with fresh oil through the filler hole (picture) to the level of its lower edge.
The capacity of the gearbox housing is 2.15 l.
Recommended oil – SAE 75W-90 (API-GL-4).
