B is a working battery that supplies voltage to the trouble code reader.
Attention: During certain test procedures, additional fault codes may be issued. You need to be careful that the codes issued during the checks do not mislead the inspector.
Connect the fault code reader to the self-diagnosis plug. Use the trouble code reader for the following purposes in strict accordance with the device manufacturer's instructions:
- reading fault codes;
- erasing fault codes.
When determining the fault code, refer to the table below.
Codes should always be erased after a parts check or repair involving the removal or replacement of engine management system parts.
