There are codes in memory
If one or more fault codes are detected, use the fault code table to determine their meaning.
If there are multiple codes, check for a general fault such as a fault in the ground or power supply circuits.
If any engine management system related components or circuits need to be checked, refer to the component testing procedures.
After troubleshooting, clear the codes and run the engine under various conditions to determine if the problem is resolved.
Recheck the electronic control module for fault codes. If the codes still persist, repeat the above procedures.
There are no codes in memory
When there are problems during engine operation, but there are no codes in the memory, then the malfunction is outside the parameters provided by the design of the self-diagnostic system.
If the problem is related to a specific part, replace the faulty part with a working one.
