0
Depending on the models and equipment, cars are equipped with alternating current generators of varying power. The power is indicated on the generator nameplate. When installing additional equipment, the power of the installed generator should be taken into account.

The drive is carried out from the crankshaft using a V-belt.

Precautions when working with chargers

When working with electrical equipment in the engine compartment, be sure to remove the ground wire from the battery.

To avoid mixing up the wires on the generator and the voltage regulator, mark them before disconnecting.

Do not disconnect the battery or voltage regulator while the engine is running.

Do not remove the generator while the battery is connected.

When carrying out welding work, be sure to disconnect the battery.
