Fuse boxes are located in the passenger compartment and in the engine compartment (some models).
The load capacity of the fuse and the name of the electrical circuit that the fuse protects are indicated on the inside of the fuse box.
Attention: Spare fuses are in the box. When replacing fuses, make sure they are of the correct rating.
Replacing the fuse
Before replacing a fuse, be sure to turn off the electrical circuit that the fuse protects and turn the ignition key to the LOCK position (blocking).
Remove the fuse box cover.
Check the fuse rating table for the fuse that protects the failed circuit.
There is a special tool in the cover of the fuse box (puller) to remove fuses.
Using a puller, remove the fuse you think is blown from the block by pulling it straight up. The wire inside the fuse is easily visible and will be broken if the fuse is blown.
If it does not burn out, then something else is the cause of the malfunction, and contact a specialized service station to identify and eliminate it.
Accumulator battery
Using a puller, insert a new fuse with the same current rating into the same location in the fuse box as the blown one.
If a newly installed fuse blows again after a short time, contact a specialist workshop to determine the cause of the fault and correct it.
