Lower control arm (models from 2002) — disassembly and assembly (Hyundai Elantra J1)

Disassembly

Using tools or suitable pipe sections, press out the front lower arm support.



Using a screwdriver, remove the boot (2) of the ball joint (1) of the lower arm.



Remove the lower arm ball joint retaining ring.



Using the tool, press out the ball joint of the lower arm.





Press out the rear support of the lower arm.

Assembly

The lower arm is assembled in the reverse order.
