Removal
1. Disconnect the hose from the PCV valve. Remove the valve from the cylinder head cover and connect it to the PCV hose.
2. Let the engine idle, place your finger over the valve hole and make sure you can feel the vacuum created in the intake manifold.

Warning: The PCV valve plunger will not move back and forth.
3. If vacuum is not felt, clean or replace the PCV valve and hose.
Examination
1. Remove the crankcase ventilation valve.
2. To check the plunger movement, insert a thin steel rod from the threaded side of the valve.

3. If the plunger does not move, the valve is clogged and needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Installation
Install the crankcase ventilation valve and tighten it to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 8–12 Nm
