Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the hose from the crankcase ventilation valve. Remove the valve from the cylinder head cover and connect it to the crankcase ventilation hose.
2. Start the engine at idle speed, close the valve opening with your finger and make sure that you can feel the vacuum created in the intake manifold.
Attention! The crankcase ventilation valve plunger will not move back and forth.
3. If vacuum is not felt, clean or replace crankcase breather valve and hose.
Examination
1. Remove the crankcase ventilation valve.
2. To check plug movement, insert a thin steel rod from the threaded side of the valve.
3.. If the plunger does not move, the valve is clogged and needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Installation
Install the crankcase ventilation valve and tighten to specified torque. Tightening torque: 8–12 Nm.
