Removal
1. Disconnect the hose from the crankcase ventilation valve. Remove the valve from the cylinder head cover and connect it to the crankcase ventilation hose.
2. Run the engine at idle speed, cover the valve hole with your finger and make sure that you can feel the vacuum created in the intake manifold.

Caution: The PCV valve plunger will not move back and forth.
3. If vacuum is not felt, clean the crankcase ventilation valve and hose or replace them.
Examination

1. Remove the crankcase ventilation valve.
2. To check the plunger movement, insert a thin steel rod from the threaded side of the valve.
3. If the plunger does not move, the valve is clogged and needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Installation
Install the crankcase ventilation valve and tighten it to the specified torque. Tightening torque: 8–12 Nm.
