Caution: Before disconnecting, mark the vacuum hoses so that they can be reinstalled in their proper places.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the solenoid valve.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.
3. Connect the vacuum pump to the pipe to which the vacuum hose with the red stripe was connected.
4. Create a vacuum and check when the voltage supplied to the solenoid valve is applied and disconnected.

Measure the resistance between the terminals of the activated carbon canister cleaning solenoid valve. Resistance: 26 ohms at 20°C.
