Note: Before disconnecting, label the vacuum hoses so that they can be reinstalled in their proper locations.


1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the solenoid valve.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.

3. Connect the vacuum pump to the pipe to which the vacuum hose with the red stripe was connected.

4. Create a vacuum and check the operation of the purge solenoid valve of the adsorber at the moment when voltage is applied to it and at the moment when voltage is disconnected.

5. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the activated carbon canister cleaning solenoid valve.

Resistance: 26 Ohm at 20°C
