Technical data
Resistance of the valve of the fuel vapor recovery system, Ohm at 20°С - 26
Tightening torque, Nm: Crankcase ventilation valve - 8–12
General information
The basic requirement for optimal fuel delivery is determined by the data supplied to the ECM by the mass air flow sensor. Other sensors and switches are used for the following measurements:
- coolant temperature;
- engine crankshaft speed;
- oxygen content in exhaust gases;
- determining the position of the top dead center of the piston of the first cylinder in the compression stroke.
Various sensors and switches report any changes in operating conditions and send appropriate signals to the ECM. This allows the ECM to regulate the duration of the opening of the injectors and maintain the optimal mode for reducing the toxicity of harmful substances in the exhaust gases and the engine operating mode in various Hyundai Getz operating conditions.
To reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, together with exhaust gases, the following exhaust gas toxicity reduction systems are used:
- fuel vapor recovery system;
- crankcase ventilation system;
- exhaust gas recirculation system;
- catalytic converter.
