Conditions for storing fault codes
The ECU stores the P0444 code and turns on the engine management system malfunction indicator lamp if an open in the EVAP purge solenoid valve control circuit is detected in two driving cycles.
The ECU sets the code P0445 and turns on the engine management system malfunction indicator lamp if a short circuit in the EVAP purge solenoid control circuit is detected for two driving cycles.
